Growing up in Calcutta, food has been an integral part of my childhood. And faded memories still exist of searching for that little tea shop that sold charana samosas or the elusive fowl cutlet. And the DI (what else do we call it?) Open Quiz still exists. The whiskeys and the Anglo-Indian 'Chilli Beef' is still served on the tables with scant disregard to the proceedings. And Neil O Brien still manages to hold his own for a couple of rounds. Spiced with the choicest Bengali swear words.
