		<description>Some good advice here. I was looking for material on decommissioning a few months ago and found very little.

It seems that people assume it will just happen, but anybody who has tried to turn off a system knows that is not the case at all.

I wrote a few paragraphs about a proposed general approach to decommissioning on my blog but I think it&#039;s an area that deserves more thought and knowledge sharing.</description>
