Microsoft was offering a very sophisticated dashboard for experiencing multiple live concerts, texting-streams, live news updates and schedule changes, ways to participate in the online community, etc. Only for IE users. So if you couldn't be bothered to use IE, you were relegated to picking just one concert at a time to watch, and cut out from the rich experience they'd crafted for their preferred platform.
