Sorry to be pedantic, but Liverpool came back to draw in the Ataturk Stadium. I accept, of course, that they won the subsequent penalty shoot-out to win the European Championship trophy, but they didn’t “win” over the 90-odd minutes of the game!

JP – I’m certainly happy for Australia to keep winning, but I’m not happy with one-sided matches, and I do like to see good cricket … I think India can deliver, and I suspect that both Sydney and Adelaide will be more to their liking (although I won’t be surprised if Adelaide is a draw – there’ll be TOO many runs scored!)

‘That is not Blogging’ la ‘That is not Cricket’ suddenly a few pieces of jig saw fell in place. (Test) cricket is by and large tedious and boring, yet very absorbing in its own way – just like blogs and blogging. 2) Gaming Cricket and gaming blogging has lot of parallels in terms of ‘Missing the point’ by a mile.

I can figure the exact Tamil phrase used by your dad for the aunt-uncle reference. Indeed, the year ahead is a touchstone for the emergent media to raise above the clutter.

Back to the old drawing board. The dream remains, even if Part 1 is in tatters :-)
