    Would add one more attribute to a good design:
- Cost effectiveness.
Except in a luxury product category where price would not be a major factor, cost becomes important.

		<description>Something I often notice is the way public seating is designed. For example the underground (amongst others) frequently places armrests on their seats to prevent people lying on them. Parks in the North East often have a bowed seat design to accomplish the same goal.

A chap at Hogshead told me that they set the automatic watering system for the window boxes above their doorway to overflow every couple of hours, to prevent people taking shelter.
