There’s been a lot of commotion on the web about a particular video going viral a few days ago. When I heard about it, my instinct was to do nothing; after all, there was a NSFW warning emblazoned right across it. So I forgot all about it.
Then an old friend of mine, Philippa Davis, pinged me about it via Facebook, all the way from South Africa. And she wasn’t the type to be sending me smut. So I took a look this evening.
And I loved it. Just the kind of thing that lets me see the art of the possible on the web. Over 4.3m views already.
I don’t want to say any more about it. Turn down the volume on your machine, make sure you’re by yourself, and then click here. And let me know what you think.
brilliant. I put kisses. and it did.
What a shame there is so much innovation starting to happen and those on dial up will never get chance of it. The internet is such a fantastic resource. Everyone Has to have decent access. Even the rural people in the final third. That’s all.

Shades of the Compliant Chicken (which for some reason isn’t showing up in Google searches). Maybe I dreamt it.
I tried “shaves” and the bear said no.
brilliant JP – wouldn’t have bothered without your digital nudge but glad i did. very very clever
Best Ad ever!
Okay but now I’m going to lie awake all night wondering what viewers of You Tube would do with a container of correction fluid? I do love the ad though.
Brilliant….. but I’m intrigued….how did they do it?…..in laymans terms please
Ok. That’s brilliant. On a whole range of levels :)
It is clever, particularly the interaction with the YouTube logo; the idea itself isn’t all that new.
Some 6 years ago there was a site called Virtual Bartender (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Bartender) where a young woman/young women served drinks to your typing. There was a whole slew of sites trying to work out what you could and couldn’t get them to do…
love the 404 one :)
try “kisses”, “hugs” and “loses”
I am still chortling quietly to myself each time I think about how clever this advert is. And yes, I keep going back!
