Introducing LifeKludger

One of the first people I started reading as a result of ConfusedOfCalcutta is David N Wallace, who actually bothered to comment on something I’d written, one of the first to do so. I followed the trail and was hooked.

I’ve always wanted to do something about equality of access and of opportunity, probably something I was exposed to in Calcutta water. When I came across Dave’s site, I realised just how much I can learn from him, he opened a whole new world for me. And when I found out he was about as far away from me as was physically possible, it showed me something of the magic of the blogosphere.

So it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Dave the LifeKludger, who becomes my first NewTailBlog. Thanks for everything, Dave.

  1. JP. Thanks for the mention.

There seems to be something upwith Tehnorati or something else wrong. I tagged my post yesterday at blog.dnwallace.com with the NewTailBlog tag, marking it up like Technorati instructs, and even pinging my site manually, but today nothing shows up for NewTailBlog tag. Did you markup your post with the rel=”tag” attribute for technorati to find?

For the NewTailBlog idea to get traction we need a way of capturing the tag that will be able to demonstrate the effectiveness and showcase those sites targetted.

    Dave

  2. Indeed there is something wrong with Technorati. When I looked yesterday there were a number of NewTailBlog posts there, but not mine. I sent Technorati a ping to encourage it to crawl my post and subsequently every post disappeared except mine. Still broken today.

Let me know what you think
