If you get the chance, take a look at young bassist Victor Wooten playing Amazing Grace. I’ve watched a lot of people play bass, and never quite seen anything or anyone like it. Also on my VodPod as usual.
Amazing…

[...] Victor Wooten doing Amazing Grace. Wooten is quite possibly the premier bassist today, and I was lucky enough to see him with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones a few years back when they played at DaVinci Days. Be sure to check out some of the other YouTube videos of him too. (hat tip to confused of calcutta) [...]

J.P,
If you enjoyed Victor’s solo, you will be amazed at the virtuosity of the musicians who play on that DVD, “Live at the Quick”. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are a treat to watch live, and I would encourage you to give them an unbiased listen.

Check out Stanley Jordan for a guitar equivalent… he likes to play 2 guitars at the same time!
He plays the guitars like piano’s and whats amazing is that he has been doing this for 20+ years…
YouTube has some good examples: his version pf Stairway to Heaven puts any guitarist wanna be to shame :o(

Dont know who the guitarist is but, as a bit of a player myself, all I can say is that they are both ‘jaw droppingly’ good.
